Welcome to the Toronto Garrison Officers’ Ball 2016!
Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Bergeron and Honorary Colonel Jim Leech cordially invite you to join the Officers of 32 Signal Regiment, Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, for an evening of fine dining, fellowship and dancing into the night. The social highlight of 32 Canadian Brigade Group’s calendar, the Toronto Garrison Officers’ Ball will take place on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, in the luxury and splendour of the Allstream Centre, situated on the historic Exhibition Place grounds.
Reflecting back on a proud history of Canada’s fighting men and women, the Toronto Garrison Officers’ Ball will honour those who serve Canada today, and those who served yesterday as we remember a century ago those who fought at St. Eloi, Mont Sorrel, the Somme, Hill 61, Hill 62, Beaumont-Hamel and Verdun to name just a few. And as we know, these and other hard fought battles would ultimately lead to that decisive battle on Vimy Ridge with the preliminary bombardments commencing on March 20th, 1917.
From those early days Canada’s Navy, Army and Air Force has evolved and continued to serve where ever our nation and duty has asked. Since the Second World War our Canadian Armed Forces has served in United Nations Peacekeeping Missions, NATO and international Humanitarian Assistance Missions, and in support to civil authority during domestic operations at home – demonstrating the credo of “Scalable, Agile & Responsive”.
32 Signal Regiment is proud to host the 2016 edition of the Toronto Garrison Officers’ Ball. We look forward to your company for this very special evening and trust that you will delight in all that will be offered.
